- I'm not one of those guys who thinks "everything sounds better on vinyl." Considering how quiet this recording is, it has to compete with whatever surface noise you happen to experience, not to mention any contributing factors like the rumble of a direct drive turn table motor or any vibrations your stylus picks up. I really think that if you're going to have a quiet recording, digital offers some serious benefits. The music is, of course, excellent.
