So much better than online samples would lead you to think. This is a wonderful album, truly worth the attention you could give it. The samples are exciting to listen to, the music is really calming and engaging.

after many years it is good to finally see the album Felix has so deeply worked on, and it is fantastic. The opening track "the savage bush hotel" starts off with the sounds of animals before launching into a sea of beauty. The album then switches into the oddly titled "i'm so high i swear i could" which is a bizarre mix of preacher rants, electronica, children speaking and 30s blues music. there's a lot long winding songs that build up fantastically such as "righteous red berets" and "ding dong thing" before closing with the fantastic acoustic "Pietermaritzburg". its all fantastic. each album he has made has always been different, and this is just another extension of Laband's sound. I hope there is another album soon..
