Reviews
- Possibly one of the most intense 'spiritual' jazz-records I own. The titletrack is superb and unrivaled. Not only Tyner is at his best, but so is Fortune, Mouzon and Hill. Maybe not the most known or famous album of Tyner, but to me certainly one of his best. The Milestone-pressing I own sounds very good, so no need for a reissue.
This (post-Blue Note)-period of Tyner is often overlooked, but contains some of his most creative and intense albums.
