I got this version, because I was told that it is a Bernie Grundman mastering… just received the LP and checked the runouts… I was surprised to find out, that there really is a „BG“ etched in on both sides. So getting this LP for 22€ is a real bargain… the sound is crazy good. I don‘t have the original, but the 1996 MFSL version of it to compare it to. I find this BG version to be superior sounding. If you are looking for a REALLY good version of Nevermind without spending a few hundred $$, get this one. You probably won’t regret it.

Does anyone know where this was pressed? Pallas? Optimal? The dreaded GZ?

sound is great until the last track, sibilance on Something in the Way kills it sadly.

I finally got round to playing this. Bought from HMV a few weeks before my local closed forever. Side 1 won't be getting played that often, there is an annoying amount of noise in the background/quite parts. Side 2 plays fine, crisp and clear.

This is a great reissue. I don't have any other copies to compare it to. Minimal noise, great sound quality.
