awesome pressing. a bit of hairline scratches due to the sleeve when i tried to pull it out because the sleeve was just stuck to the record and i pretty much ripped it out after trying to get it out carefully. taught me a lesson of cutting the sleeves with scissors instead of taking the record out just to avoid hairline scratches. sounds awesome though!

This is an ok to good pressing but not as clear and detailed as the 2017 B2B one that was pressed from the Bernie Grundman pallas plates.. I have a fairly linear system and this just sounds too bassy on it - not saying its bad but once you compare to the other there jusy isn't any reason to listen to this issue.

The Universal "Back to Black" label is turning up a lot of reviews on this release page; perhaps reviewers are not checking matrix numbers and other specs before reviewing. From what I understand, this 2015 reissue/repress is from the 2001 "320" cut which had been remastered from the original tape. It tends to be darker sounding, with heavier bass than the BG cut. The BG cut that people are buying these days from big box stores, and on Amazon is most likely the 2017 Universal Back to Black version, and it should be reviewed and listed for sale on that page instead of this one. Unfortunately, the outer jackets for both this 2015 and other Back to Black reissues have been reported to be identical, with the only way to tell the difference between the "320" and the "BG" mastering by looking at the matrix numbers in the dead wax. Whether this is the case, reviews and sale listings on this page should all be for the "320" cut.

Why is this version is being referred as a BG cut? It does not have his initials anywhere. The question is: is this version digital or analago?

Incredible but true... this is an amazon puirchase and the runout says "BG"... Amazing!
The sound is very very good, this re issue is a markable one! Very happy!!

Holy shit the stories are true! This is such a great pressing. Dynamic, big, open, spacious. Got it on Amazon for $30-$35 import

I got this version, because I was told that it is a Bernie Grundman mastering… just received the LP and checked the runouts… I was surprised to find out, that there really is a „BG“ etched in on both sides. So getting this LP for 22€ is a real bargain… the sound is crazy good. I don‘t have the original, but the 1996 MFSL version of it to compare it to. I find this BG version to be superior sounding. If you are looking for a REALLY good version of Nevermind without spending a few hundred $$, get this one. You probably won’t regret it.

nirvanas best album and i don’t want to hear anyone disagree. i don’t care that it’s "overplayed" ITS GOOD
