Effing amazing if bass is your thing. The vinyl seems to be a different quality or possibly they used injection molding? The vinyl is thick and not as flexible and the shine is a little different. More like shellac. Buy it and enjoy it. This one of the B2B done right, along with In Utero. Original mixes.

My copy sound fantastic, nice balanced sound, very crisp. Silent between tracks. I’m annoyed that the record is a bit warped. This is happening more and more often with new records that I buy.

This reissue sounds great. I hate the inner sleeve. Upon removing the vinyl from it, the poly lined part came all the way out of the paper and it wouldn’t go back in straight. It frustrated me enough to just throw it out and use a regular paper inner. The vinyl isn’t concentric but it plays fine. Also the record was a little dirty but when cleaned, it had no surface marks.

I confirm, no "BG" etched on this vinyl and I don't care cause it sounds damn good enough to me. Bass and drums are not overpowered, it just sounds groovy as grunge should do. I don't like Back To Black pressings too much but glad to see they don't f...ked up all their releases :)

Awsesome pressing, sounds very clear and with a great bass with out loosing the definition. Kurt vocals sound great.

this pressing absolutely kicks ass, sounds amazing and deep when cranked loud and has minimal surface noise. i highly recommend it

awesome pressing. a bit of hairline scratches due to the sleeve when i tried to pull it out because the sleeve was just stuck to the record and i pretty much ripped it out after trying to get it out carefully. taught me a lesson of cutting the sleeves with scissors instead of taking the record out just to avoid hairline scratches. sounds awesome though!

This is an ok to good pressing but not as clear and detailed as the 2017 B2B one that was pressed from the Bernie Grundman pallas plates.. I have a fairly linear system and this just sounds too bassy on it - not saying its bad but once you compare to the other there jusy isn't any reason to listen to this issue.

The Universal "Back to Black" label is turning up a lot of reviews on this release page; perhaps reviewers are not checking matrix numbers and other specs before reviewing. From what I understand, this 2015 reissue/repress is from the 2001 "320" cut which had been remastered from the original tape. It tends to be darker sounding, with heavier bass than the BG cut. The BG cut that people are buying these days from big box stores, and on Amazon is most likely the 2017 Universal Back to Black version, and it should be reviewed and listed for sale on that page instead of this one. Unfortunately, the outer jackets for both this 2015 and other Back to Black reissues have been reported to be identical, with the only way to tell the difference between the "320" and the "BG" mastering by looking at the matrix numbers in the dead wax. Whether this is the case, reviews and sale listings on this page should all be for the "320" cut.
