- Outer Limits track seems to have same baseline later used in the track on this single https://www.discogs.com/release/658302-Golem-The-Second-Double-Golem
called "I send you to paradise" - Real Good House Music - Excellent e.p. 'Outer Limits' is a nice mellow drift along to track. Next, 'In The Beginning'- bouncy piano track that gets the people movin. 'Holding On' is the one to go to though I.M.O. starts off quite dark at first then the beatz drop in and we're off, couple of organ stabs and a subtle vocal sample as it chugs along . just goes and goes. Absolute gem of a groove. love it......
- Edited 12 years agoKiller house cover of 'Always There'. There were way too many house-ified covers of disco classics around this time, but this one took the original into new territory.
- Edited 15 years agoFully agree with the previous reviewer. The A-side, Outer Limits, is one of those classy instrumental house tunes. Very simple, very catchy, just a few elements that work so well together. It consists mainly of a lovely lead piano tune with the occasional synth flourish that could happily go on for ever in your head, with some cute little acid squiggles thrown in for a bit of early 90s contemporiness (however this is NOT an acid tune). Get this if you like classic piano house - would sit very nicely alongside Fallout's 'the Morning After' or Neal Howard's 'Indulge', genius tracks all...
- Edited 18 years agoOuter Limits, that summer of 1990 would have not been the same without it, only heard it a couple of times in nightclubs, but outdoors early morning the perfect piece of music for the situation, such a wicked groove, deep flowing bumpy bass with those subtle piano keys and mellow synth sounds, i had so many people at the time trying to buy this tune off me, a real deep house underground classic !
