Lovely packaging and good sounding record, however my record has an imperfection between A4 and A5 (photo here which is very notable on listening. Causes a repetitive clicking/pop. Have emailed This Is Vinyl Collector to get their comments to see if it's a known issue.

Digital (from the 2007 remasters). 'Nuff said for this album, surely.

Excellent version! More than value for money! Minor scratches (how is that possible for a sealed vinyl?) do not affect the sound at all.

Buyers beware that some sellers (CC for one) are mislisting the US version as a UK version. Most accidentally but I suspect not all. Some sellers have changed their listing when I inquired about which version they really had for sale but then again not all (see the one previously mentioned). The US version does not come with the digital download code. You may want to confirm with the seller first. The seller in question frequently mislist items and has a lot of negative feedback saying so.

My copy of this release is on flat, silent vinyl. This is a great record for listening nights. The soundstage is very big with very good separation. The stereo effects are interesting. Strong low end, punchy mid-bass with detailed mids and highs. A very linear mix. This is a great album and this pressing does everything well. Prepare to be hit in the face by a thick wall of sound. Highly recommended. (Rega Planar 3, Exact 2 cart, PSE Studio SL, Linn LK85, Linn interconnects, Linn Katans - Linn Sizmik 12.45" for 2.1)

A great pressing on dead silent wax.

The sleeve was textured as described, and the internal contents included the reproduced album liner on cardstock as well as an additional poly lined archival sleeve that the album actually sits in.

Compared to the digital version of the 2007 remaster this pressing has a much wider and vacuous soundstage. Though the album is a cavernous wall of resonating reverb the music is brilliantly mixed in a way where each instrument is given it's own frequency to breath. This allows for you to easily discern each instrument from one another within the caucaphony, and to easily tell where their physical placement is among the soundstage. There are even low levels of echoes that I've never noticed on some of the tracks where you can hear the decay of the word or note far too long after the sound is heard.

In a head to head shoot out many people still insist on the quality of an original pressing compared to these remasters but this vinyl repressing is still head an shoulders above any digital or radio version of the songs I've heard before. That being said, the CD versions of these master tapes (2007 & 2015) are said to be still heavily compressed and not up to snuff with the CDs released in 89' and 91'.

Sound is perfect, but the sleeve I got is not textured, but normal. Maybe the textured ones are limited?

why is genre listed as electronic?
