Reviews
- Fairly easy to obtain at one point, now a little more difficult (and expensive). This album is more orthodox punk than the follow-up (Tacky Souvenirs....). The lyrics are a cut above most punk/hardcore of the time. The last track on side 2 shows the way the band were heading with its appropriation of Jimi's version of AATW... including a sample from the song. The band exploited this idea wholesale on the follow-up a few years later.
- Edited 9 years agoFYI, despite the different track naming between this original release and the more-recent HotBox 004 "Year One Again" CD release, they appear to be the same songs. That said, this is still a cool release to own on vinyl, what with the inserts and all. :)
