- Here is a message posted by Peter Benisch regarding a pending reissue of this album.
Dear reader. I'm really sad to write this. A while back I got an offer from Mr Downey at Psychonavigation Records to re-release an old record I did, Waiting for Snow, originally released on FAX. Since I know a lot of people like it, and that it’s hard to get hold of, I thought it was a great idea.
Also the original label owner, Peter Kuhlmann aka Pete Namlook, died much to young only a few years ago, and I felt it would be a way to honor him and his work aswell through this. So I signed the contract…
However, the preview and design of the material didn’t feel right, so I told Mr Downey I don’t want to pursue this and asked him to cancel the release.
Chockingly, he said he will release it anyway without my further input. I have not sent him any of the orignal audio masters so I cannot wouch for the quality of such a release, even less figure out how it can actually be done.
But should this take place, this is devastating since this is one of my personal favourite albums, originally released by a label that does not exist anymore, and the label manager, a true friend, Is dead.
Just want you to know, that if you should see this release coming in the future - It is against my will, and I have nothing to do with it. I have not delivered any original audio material or had any part of the design.
I just made a mistake of signing a contract of something I thought would benefit everyone, and pay tribute to an old friend.
Thank you for reading. Please share this post.

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1407571359271368&id=143475485680968 - "Waiting for Snow" had been long an intrigue until it was finally re-released on Ambient World, which is not the common case for PS releases. So what do we have here? Beautiful frozen-like textured drones, lonesome melodies, thoroughly constructed rhythms and some light sound effects. No doubt, Mr. Benisch is a talented and skilful sound-producer, but the album came out looped and static. Of course, this may be the part of a "snowy" concept, but I personally prefer creativity and dynamics in music. Nevertheless, the album has a pleasantly melancholic mood and would fit well for playing on late autumn or winter days.
