- IMHO this was the most revolting version/design of the Columbia label Sony ever had created (It is the USA NOT Japan)
its really nice to note that the USA 12" promo labels continued with its classic rim logo design that had held the helm for 17 years
- Dreamlover in its original form, is not very enjoyable, But morales turns it into an amazing dance track!
- Carey & Morales at their best. A timeless club classic that sounds as good today, as it did 30 years ago.
- First time I went to sound factory, 1994, 17yrs old, fuck man I heard Dreamlover AND I’ll be your friend AND So get up. Wtf. I was never the same after that. I’m at hard for most to understand how good Jr was at the time, but it didn’t get any better. Nobody did it better. To bad it didn’t stick.
- Love watching people laugh at this record when they see the cover, and then you show them how side B has three huge tracks without a smattering of fromage or shrill crap. David Morales at his finest. What a record. And so cheap.... it's the most known unknown of all time.
- The Def Tribal Mix has never failed me in all the years I've hammered it. An absolute perfect club/warehouse workout from David Morales.
- Edited 2 years agoDavid Morels Def Club Mix s one of my all time favourite tunes.
From the intro this tune just grabs you - with distinctive loops that kick the track off, vocal chants that build and drop into that heavily piano them comes the vocal, the track drops back down to the beats & loops and build right back up again.
A real masterpiece, that you disappear into, one of if not the best Dave Morels remix.
Essential for any house collection.
