Got a copy of this from the local shop that was still sealed after 51 years and was surprised when I cracked it open and saw the matrix/runout info. So bare bones. Anyone have any idea where this was pressed or cut or anything?

Sadly, it didn't sound all that great, although I've only ever listened to a digital copy of this album so I don't know how it compares to other pressings. There is some distortion in parts, it sounds a little muddy in others, and it had a decent amount of surface crackle despite getting a wet clean with Tergikleen and rinse with distilled water before play.

I played an original 1976 pressing of Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak just after this to make sure my equipment wasn't the issue, and while it was not an audiophile experience, it sounded really good and was quite a contrast after playing Runt.

I guess the search continues for this album for me, but that's part of the fun, right?
