Brilliant record, love their first and this. Also the eps baby maker and flesh balloon are worth picking up. This band made good use of innovative guitar textures and tones, welded them onto a traditional ‘indie rock’ frame only other bands I’ve heard with similar aesthetics are Manics and MBV.
    Totally ahead of their time….

Wonderful follow up to a fantastic debut LP. For 30 years this has been ever present in my ‘now playing’ section. Just gets everything right for me. Think I’ve only played the 7” once, on the day I bought this from Adrian’s in Wickford. Maybe it’s time for a second spin…
