Cover photo: Meal at the mowing, Mangskog's parish, Bjurbäcken, N. Keyland 1908, Nordiska Muséet
Recorded to dancing the 25/2 and 26/2 1978 in Nedre Ullerud's Hembygdsgård, Värmland.
"Grovt" and "Grant" ("rough" and "neat") is a traditional Swedish way of harmonising two violins. It's an octave parallel where the one playing 'grant' plays mostly on the top two strings while the one playing 'grovt' basically plays the same melody, but on the bottom two strings.
