This is one of many jungle tunes that have stood the test of time. I once heard someone refer to it as darkcore and I know what they mean, it's not full on Jungle yet and still has Hardcore elements to it. A few tunes fit this category, Champion Sound, Renegade snares, thru the vibe, just to name a few, it was like music was in it's own transitional stage and was evolving. Either way I succumb to the ridiculous prices on here ass the tune is still an absolute banger. Catch it at random on one of my sets on where we play some form of oldskool 24/7, mainly with tunes i've acquired from discogs

One of the most influential jungle tracks ever. Originally released as a b side track to “the touch” but ended up being the best seller when released as as a stand alone track. The track samples an old tv programme from the bbc called ‘QED’ (which was about out-of-body experiences) and the other sample is from the Apolla 11 lunar module landing on the moon - Jack King

Quality oldskool at its finest

This was released in 1996? Surely not, it's a '93 tune isn't it ...

So different, such a standalone track, nothing ever sounded like it.
