Notes
The original album had an outer sleeve which was made to look like a plain brown paper bag. Each cover showed an alternate angle of a man in a bar. The scenario has been photographed from 6 different viewpoints within the bar and then 6 different sleeve variations have been created (with the letters A - F at the top of the spine denoting each variation).
Plain white polyline "plastic bags" inner sleeves, with shaped corners, center window holes and flipback.
Contains an insert which reproduces the original inner design, with tracks list and credits (the original one features a 'magic' ink in different colours which appear on the design when gently wetting).

Runouts are entirely etched and where Optimal Media GmbH's "faintly inscribed "geometric" marks" appear, these are mirrored:
Variant 1: Side B 'BX', Side D 'V=+'
Variant 2: Side B '+ I', Side C '3I', Side D 'VI+'
Variant 3: Side A 'VI/\', Side B '/\/\', Side C (also might be upside down) 'X3', Side D 'VI='
Due to the nature of the hand etching, it can sometimes appear that there is a space between the letters and numbers of the Optimal Media GmbH identifiers. However, as per the Optimal Media GmbH label page, their runout scheme "is in fact always without spaces."

- I can't tell any difference between the companion disc and the songs that actually made the album. They sound the same to me!
- So what people talk about when they think this sounds bad is most likely the digital mastering. I myself was expecting this to be a great sounding issue but after listening I felt like it was missing something and still prefererad my older 70s issue. I thought it had a lot of detail with a clean press but for some reason sounded very flat and sterile. If you are looking for the best sounding new versions of these albums I hear that the Classic Records releases are a good choice. They are very expensive but are made by people who really care and do great mastering for vinyl. I myself am getting one and doing a blind test to see which I think sounds best between the 70s issue, 2014 remaster and 2007 Classic Records version. In the end its a good record and if you dont mind that much its just a great deal, but personally I would go for many 70s reissues that are in NM condition over this.
Update:
The Classic Records release by Grundman are easily superior for some albums and closer with others, they are never worse than the 2014 reissues however.
