Both 12”s by The Mover, “Frontal Sickness pt 1” and “Frontal Sickness Pt 2” are incredible, original dark psychedelia. I bought every Planet Core Productions release I could find from 1990 onwards! They could slay the dance floor at every gig we played, right up til the present day!

I heard this for the first time at a warehouse rave in 1991. Colin Dale was on the decks, stirring his deep, post-apocalyptic cauldron. Then he dropped Nightflight. The bass was so pregnant and laden that it spilt over the floor like a tidal wave. It surged through the party and atomised the place.

The next time I heard Nightflight was at a free party in the car park at Glastonbury Festival in 1994. It suited the sketchy, ket-fuelled vibe perfectly. I asked the DJ what it was and, like a crazed trainspotter, I wrote the name down and bought it the very next week at Fatcat in London. It's never left my box since.

...A brooding techno masterpiece that encapsulates everything that the free party scene was about in the early nineties, but which still sounds fresh today...
