The Gehenna Device is, simply, a work of art. Starts off with the breaks from that Barry White track & mimicks the piano from the original but adds so much more, with a violin & sorrowful tones it distracts you from what is brewing. I have to admit the drop in my eyes could have been a bit heavier, but it its typical Hidden & is in his unique style so Im not complaining.. This record holds a lot of dear memories to me, but that aside there are no other tunes like it.. Buy it and give your ears a treat

If Corrupt is a honest, yet pretty regular drum 'n bass tune, alternating dancefloor mayhem and more melodic moments, The Gehenna Device is nothing short of groundbreaking. Very loungesque in the beginning, with a slow pace, cello and piano notes, it morphs into something more similar to the AA side, only to switch back to lounge soundscapes halfway through. Then the tension seriously builds up (think of The Twilight Zone theme) for the final run. Impressive how sounds that should absolutely not work together actually do!
