- Pretty good pressing. Listening with headphones, I do hear some brief ticking on I’m Not Down. Vocals on Train in Vain are a little distorted, maybe inner groove distortion.
- Edited 2 years agoSuch a great pressing, never heard this album better, so good at capturing the variety of music within. Rhythm section sounds particularly powerful. A must-own.
- Nice quiet black background. Very punchy, and wide dynamic soundstage. This flat out sounds amazing! Playing off a Rega P6/Exact-2, Elex-R and Focal Aria 906. Highly recommended!
- what's the difference between this "Legacy" release and the "we are vinyl" release from the same year? I've got the latter, identified by the sticker on the shrink foil. But it has exact the same runout stamps and etchings like the "Legacy" release...
I guess the only difference is the sticker and the additional download card? - Edited 6 years agoFantastic and very dynamic release of a must have album. I am blown away how good this 2lp record sounds!
- This is a REALLY great sounding release. Sounds a ton better than the CD I bought ages ago. Awesome positioning, feels very warm and alive.
- Edited 7 years agoUntil I bought this, I'd only ever owned this on CD and had always found it to be a little "limp" and thin. Consequently I didn't consider it an all time classic as it's known to be. Until now....
Honestly, this album is so much fuller and better on vinyl. No question. Another winner from Legacy Vinyl - have yet to be disappointed by this label's pressings.
