Baffled by these "perfect pressing" comments. I've had three different copies of the first Y2K press. Untouched, unplayed copies. All flawed. Sure, the music sounds good. But so what. The amount of vinyl noise is fucking intolerable.

When I first listened to 'sleep' it was mind-blowing. I say that this song changed a lot how I perceive music in general. Now two decades later I bought my own vinyl player and I'm enjoying this perfectly pressed piece of art of post-rock.

One of the greatest post-rock albums ever made. An absolute delight to listen to on wax too.

Love this record. Bought new back in 2000. It's still in its bag with the $16.99 sticker. They asked the crowd at Maxwell's to sit down so the short people could see the projections.

This is a perfect pressing in my opinion. Hearing sleep on vinyl is an incredible experience.

Nice release of post-rock/experimental music. Some emphasis on dissonance and consonance, slow volume shifts and some well executed tempo changes, hard to pull off by an analog band.

Contains 4 sides, all relating together in a concept. Includes a graphical map of the music in the gatefold, complete with timestamps and descriptions. Clever artwork throughout.

Nice pressing. No detectable errors. Super quiet vinyl, nice heavyweight inner sleeves with glossy lining.

                Enjoyable record. 3.5 stars.

Seeing as that 15.3K people have this, I think someone really needs to take proper photos of everything and replace the old ones. I don't really have the means too but I bet someone does.

One of the vinyls of my copy was badly warped and there's in general a lot of crackles. The sound is great though, and it's a fantastic album.

This record might be the single greatest achievement of the entire post-rock genre. It's just perfect. I've never known a double album to flow so effortlessly. Every part is a joy and you should probably buy it and listen to it because it is nice and stuff.
