Various – Shenmue

i have a sealed copy and have absolutely no idea how to identify which release it is?

As someone who loves records and Shenmue, this is a great release. The contrast of light-blue and dark-blue looks beautiful on the record and the sound quality is brilliant. The lithograph and full-color album art with OBI strip are also really nice touches, and I was shocked at how clean the record came from the factory (very little particles/dust). Data Discs clearly know what they're doing and are very passionate.

While all the "pieces" of the game were featured, I really wish Data Discs had featured more of the background music from the game. Although mostly loops, music from the Suzuki household, the Tomato Convenience Store music, and the day-to-night transitions are just as ethereal and beautiful. They really deserved to be featured and is my only gripe with the release.

Overall, this is a must-have for Shenmue fans with a record collection.

Best release from Data Discs by far. Music is so relaxing and one of a kind. Awesome mastering, the Limited edition sounds perfect. Can't beat pricing for this quality release, although you have to act quick on release to get the Ltd. Editions. Even if you can't get the limited, this is worth having in any version on vinyl!
