Packaged in brown paper sleeve with small 16-page booklet made from the same paper. Edition of 100 copies.
Side A: recorded March 1996, mixed April 1996.
In 1995 the label Cynistrose launched an international compilation project: the goal was to give sounds recorded in a special place (U.LP) to different artists and to let them rework the sounds and make an unique composition with them. Each participant (as Kapotte Muziek) was given sounds but also samples of matter (glass, wood, stone, rubber…) from this place. Kapotte Muziek also choose to compose a track with these matters.
Side B: sounds recorded in April and May 1995, composedin August and September 1995, mixed in November 1995.
"M.SL" is the first and last Sechres Mound studio recording. The composition is only based on field recordings made in the area of the SL mine; the sounds then were selected, edited and reworked. The goal of Sechres Mound was to reflect the past (active) and the present (inactive) atmosphere of the place.
