I stopped following monster magnet after hearing the album God says no which for me was a bad copy of powertrip... and this new direction of hot singles Dave wanted to proceed.... and after some dissapointing shows and Ed Mundel leaving the band I just wasn't interested anymore.... I thought that was why the original members who had their touch in the band were leaving... understanding from interviews that most of the band''s ideas were coming from Dave I had to agree it was more like his project. ... so two years ago... I saw a show of them again... with all new members.... I was missing Ed his way of playing solo's. .. but even then they blew me away and it was a real nice show... and after reading an interview about the last album with psychedelic cover songs (a better dystopia) I was really amazed by hearing the album on YouTube. So I checked them all now... and some are really good. I never thought they would ever com close to their master peace : dopes to infinity but this one is kind of getting close... they all are on my want list again and I am checking them one by one!
