<A taxonomy of songs>
Contains 5 mini 3'' CDs of new, rare and unreleased material, a lyric booklet, and a different version of the "Greatest Hits" CD.
Released in a custom pink plastic case with an outer white paper slipcase with embossed artwork. Inside there are 2 mini glossy gatefold sleeves, containing 2 miniCDs each ("Roots" miniCDs, and "Strings" miniCDs), a soft plastic sleeve containing "Beats" miniCD with an 8-page mini booklet, the "Greatest Hits" CD stuck in the bottom of the pink plastic case, the lyric booklet "Words", and a folded poster with a letter written by Björk on one side and the credits on the other side.
Sealed copies have a round pink hype sticker on the front and a pink squared sticker on the back with the tracklist.
This version of Greatest Hits contains songs chosen by Björk, while the stand-alone release includes the tracks chosen by fans.
On "Roots" miniCDs:
"Immature" is actually the "Björk's version" previously released in the "Jóga" single.
"Cover me" is the keyboard version found in the "Army of me" single.
"Generous Palmstroke" is the live version at the Santa Cecilia di Academia, Rome, 10 November 2001. Later released in "Vespertine Live".
On "Beats" miniCD:
"The modern things" is the previously unreleased "Original Demo" version.
"Nature is ancient" was previously released as "My snare" in the "Bachelorette" single.
On "Strings" miniCDs:
Previously unreleased live and studio recordings from 1999/2000 with the Brodsky Quartet.

- Had 3 copies of this set. All of the mini discs had scratches, brand new out of the box. Manufacturing flaw?
- Surely one of the worst packaged C.D. box sets of all time! Has anybody been able to successfully negotiate putting everything back into the case once opened?! Of course, the music more than compensates and that is all that really matters.
