For me one of the best releases from Heiko Laux - though his discography is replete with quality. Stand-out track here is 3, pumped up, full of vitality and purpose. Turn a bad day good with this certified banger, guaranteed. IMO Heiko's ability to create powerful dancefloor music that's both emotive and nuanced is almost singular, especially in today's landscape.

Souldancer 1 and 3 are the two to focus on, 1 is lovely moving techno track, with an eerie sample in the background for good measure, plays from Laurent Garnier back in the day, for me this is just pipped by souldancer 3 which has a more down tempo/progressive feel to it, plays more recently from Nina Kraviz - another beauty from kurbel who produce the goods everytime.

Hard to say what A2 means to me... I first heard it under Laurent Garnier's fingers @ Rex Club, and since then I've been a total fan of Heiko, and I still consider that he is one of the true genius who have made of the deep techno sound what it is today. The melodic line of this track sounds very unusual, but is in fact based on a static rythmic structure, with a choice of only six notes presented in each measure in a different order.
