Absolute mother-bleepin classic this one. I like the reviewer below podunk's description of this as a roiling, boiling ocean of noice - 'harmony in ultraviolet' is such an apt name when you listen to the music.

if this is his best yet.. god help me. what a complete disappointment this was, with all the reviews & build up given ..talk about over exposure on a one trick pony... was going to buy "ain' talkin''bout love" cause i've a closet affection for Dave Lee Roth, but instead settled on this purely because the reviews across the world echoed brillance beyond heaven's gate. Where in the name of insanity is the orginality? i'd advise (a) purchasing electronica from some complete unknown drone ambient bedsitter - this works far better than reading the public's none informative reviews.
      (b) keeping your money & spending it elsewhere like on sleeping tablets or glue - this works far better than crying yourself into a sorrowfully hell surrounded by a collection of mediocre cds & nursing a broken soul.
Buy blind Buy cheap Buy underground .. oo-eer!!

Wot? No-one reviewed this yet? Absolutely top album. Hecker's best yet. A roiling, boiling ocean of sky scraping noise. Ambient I guess but the complete opposite of any sleep inducing drift or melancholic darkness. HIU makes one feel like 1000volts are being zapped between left and right earphones straight through your cranium - ECT for the IDM generation. An ecstatic orgasm of noise. Excellent, organic production job too. Can he top this gem? HIU is the Fennesz sound of Venice revved up to a whole new level. Check out Radio Amor too which is also a beautiful weather front of sound although considerably more minimal.
