Still the greatest original artist dance album of all time by a long stretch.

The sequencing is beyond perfection as the mood and styles flow seamlessly despite the incredible variety. 22 years on and there isn't a single track that doesn't stand the test of time. The craft and care that went into every track, every beat, every sample, every segue shines through.

This album changed my life from the moment i heard the open chords of release the pressure and all these years later it still reveals new things. If you've never listened to it, you really are missing out.

One of under praised albums of the 90's.
Vinyl version ( 3lps) is far superior to any other version !

The first wave of true Progressive House music from the UK. Others have tried to copy the formula, but most fall at the wayside. The original bass heavy sound. How many other groups do you know who would cause the plaster to fall off the ceiling at the Brixton Academy venue whilst LeftField were playing live? Premiership dance music, but certainly not an early EDM project. Tuff & brutal ... The UK at it's best.

The greatest album ever? Well, in my opinion, I think so, yes. From banging hard house to sweet down tempo and ambient, this for me has got it all. There is never a time or a mood when Leftism won’t fit, an absolute timeless gem. If you like electronic music and you haven’t heard this then get yourself a copy today, if not sooner. Everybody deserves to have heard this album in their life.
