Around the time (2014/15) this sound in Bristol was pretty signature to the area; another unknown but (imho) tasty example would be Bedu Amin - Redland, similar in tone to ''Future Tense'' just less of a mashup of styles. For those digging Bristol music <3

Sinister, sparse & deadly. October's mix is that good, its hard to pick a side...

Bristol’s Rhythmic Theory has been working away quietly, putting out three records in 2015 across a few different labels - Idle Hands, Blackest Ever Black and Ancient Monarchy - when it comes to heady body music for big sound systems no one has done it better than him. His Future Tense record for Bristol shop and label Idle Hands is a collision of the past and present, with the dread of early dubstep and jungle up against mutant FWD techno - what ends up is a record that sounds entirely futuristic, with the added bonus of a paranoid, ominous remix from fellow Bristol producer, October.
