- I dont really know why i was expecting anything different from how it sounded in headphones. It sounds fine but I feel like it could have been mixed a little better for speakers + subwoofer. Full of cracks as well but that's just a matador thing.
Its a nice wall of sound though! - Edited 3 years agoReally surprised with how good this translates into vinyl considering the quality of the recording itself. Matador please press Monomania.
- Edited 3 years agoPerfectly fair pressing of this album. Art on the jacket is stunning, however the paper sleeve is a disappointment (the hole in the middle isn't even covered!) The actual music itself sounds fine, mixed decently on vinyl but doesn't bring out the fullest potential of the instruments. Since this is more lofi than the other post-2014 CSH albums, I'll cut some slack though
- Awesome music. Can't wait to see where this guy goes with Matador's backing.
This pressing is so/so. Kinda noisy.
