Found a sealed copy on eBay the other day and decided to pull the trigger as I need this to complete my Rush LP studio albums collection. Now I just need the courage to unseal it :)

Until kids are going to drop big $$$ for reissues like this one the prices will keep going up....please kids, take a deep breath, ease the anxiety, wait for a decent price to come around because if you buy in a "rush" as soon as a scalper list records like this at $400 and you pull the trigger immediately you preclude a chance to others to buy it for less, again, breathe and THINK!

The record is eight years out of print. There's no scalping going on. Demand has become much greater than supply. This was also the first and only time the record has been officially released on vinyl.

If anyone's curious about the mix that this uses, someone was nice enough to upload a full vinyl rip of this, full playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLW4U0n9D_HbBYfcarCZvV4F3n48kKqXxx

Anyone else notice how the bubbling sounds at the beginning of Limbo are removed on the LP pressing? XD

I am finally sitting down to listen to this pressing of the album - this unfairly maligned album actually sounds terrific! There are very fine nuances to Neil’s playing that do bear witness to his lessons with Freddie Gruber. It is a terrific sounding record that is noticeably superior to the CD. I have my copy but I vote with others here - why not bring these vinyl records back in production so that the band and fans benefit and the flippers don’t. This post Mercury era is rarely given the due it deserves and with the benefit of hindsight, it is a critical piece to the glorious history of one of the most unique, talented, and benevolent bands in history. The pressing is top notch!

How were there seemingly hundreds of these a few months ago for around $30, and now there are only three for a minimum of $77? What's the fucking game here?

GET THIS!! The album never sounded this good! 10 years ago I hated this album, it was in my book the worst album by rush. I listened to this remastered vinyl, it rocks!! the songs sound much better with new mastering, and the track limbo is remixed , no unnecessary sound effects anymore. This album really has only one bad song, virtuality. Long overdue this album got proper vinyl release, Counterparts actually sounds actually quite immature and ridiculous, angsty etc like they were trying to sound like pearl jam. This has actually lot of 90's rock elements in good use guitar and bass wise. i think they propably listened to some tool or some similiar bands . and the vinyl re issue is top notch. no reason not to get this!
