Sellers, buyers and contributers - let's solve the problem! Please, note that few people here mistakenly sell unofficial version of this record https://www.discogs.com/release/7730-KATO-Disco-Tech as an original one discribed here, failing to notice two essential differences between them. Firstly - the label of a bootleg release has shiny silver colour as compared to a matt light gray of original pressing. Secondly, this original release has different engravings - compare: Matrix / Runout: NG 058 A F/W MJS and Matrix / Runout: NG 058 B F/W MJS to an engravings on a bootleg release: Matrix / Runout NG 058 A1 and Matrix / Runout: NG 058 B2. The sound of the unofficial is inferior as compared to original. Made mistake twice buying bootleg here and couldn't blame seller since it was a case of bad lottery. Should one always ask seller about gray/silver label and matrix issue befor buying - or this merging in Marketplace could be assisted by Discogs? I don't know how to do this!

For those who find the vocals “do the bus-stop etc” a bit much there is a fully instrumental version on the 12” to you can enjoy that gorgeous, mesmerising synth line in peace ☮️

The reflections from the disco ball are so bright, all I can do is dance. Past sunrise, only the coolest heads and footloose dancers are still here.

Burrell on absolute fire with this record. He sums up the disco sound from the 70's and brings it into the 90's. Clever how he works all the recognizable chants from certain records in that era.

Ronald (Rhano) Burrell in an exciting and vibrant disco-house hybrid. Obvious strong influence of 70's disco but a modern drum machine and keyboard embellishment make for an appealing combo. Highly recommended.
