The Private Wax compilation version of the song is pretty nice and mixed well.

After a very long search, I found a NM copy on eBay! Yes I paid the premium for this rare disco gem! I have mixed feelings about the production and pressing. First off, I love the record and the two versions. They are indeed slightly different at the beginning and the end on each side. I will likely do my own edit to capture the best of both sides. Conversely, the pressing is not the best... The vinyl is a bit thin and the recording could have been mastered alot better. The song as in many disco productions with live instruments pitches up and down. So you must intimately know this record to mix it in or out. All things being said, i played it on my studio DJ system and not my audiophile system... So there will likely be an update to this review. About the record, it is reminiscent of an atmosfear (Sojka/Pike) production like "Dancin From Outta Space". Keyboard vamps and chord progression are off the charts. It comes in around 8 minutes but the tail end of the record is killer and they decided to end it a bit too soon. The Jam no doubt is a peak builder type record that would definitely require a strong follow up record! I give it two thumbs up (cuz I only have two, LOL). It does get "Holy Grail" Status in large part to the limited UK copies available... I will edit the release notes with the dead wax info. I hope this review was helpful. HAPPY COLLECTING!

If you're looking for this gem, I advise you to buy the Private Wax compilation (if like me, you're more a DJ than a collector, and you don't mind buying repress)
