Excellent early goa trance record. Out of the three Wizard is the one that's aged the best. It was a huge track among DJs such as Oakenfold who included it on his A Voyage Into Trance mix compilation.

A fantastic 12" that I'm sure most people who listen to Goa have heard the track " Wizard" at some point, but I just wanted point out that the track " The Rising" was produced in 1992. Way ahead of its time. It's growing on me with some recent listens and the production date helps strengthen that. Lunar juice is pretty good too, however just like anything else that Hallucinogen touches, the remix is a lot better. Easily a must-have vinyl if you collect this genre.

The laughing + "It's wonderful" sample is Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio's character from the movie The Abyss, followed by "It's me" from Ed Harris (it's when the water thingy is mimicking their faces). GTO just used the same sample. "Everybody's OK so far" and "hang on boys, it's all downhill from here" are also from that movie.

Wizard sounds like it uses the bassline from Sven Väth's "Beauty And The Beast"

The first EP release from Flying Rhino and it is truely a classic. Wizard is classic goa, totally excellent and way ahead of its time. Lunar Juice is well known from the super classic TIP Yellow compilation and has Simon Posford joining the crew for some beautiful old school goa madness with sawing leads and squelchy parts abound. The Rising is a great piece of "deep" goa. Very full, but deep and moody in its sounds. Great stuff, especially when one considers its from 1994.
