Pre-order this first set in Amazon.com on late November 2005. I have one of the very first versions. The spine in these first copies is rounded. Pretty beautiful. The later ones, including TTT and TROTK have flat spines...

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. If you liked the original soundtrack then you'll love this - this takes things to an entirely new level. The absence of dialogue means that many passages you never really noticed in the film come alive of their own merit. The DVD-audio version is a nice touch and includes two versions - 5.1 surround sound and stereo at 48 khz! It's a real shame more film soundtracks don't get released in this format. Wonderful!
