- This is a joy. Have never met anyone who has seen the movie. Or anyone who doesn't think this is a great collection. The Only Ones, The Ramones, Richard Hell but in truth they are all belters. Top end punk/new wave compilation put together by someone who knows their stuff. The 'go to' playlist before such a thing existed. Stunner that Summer.

One of the best new wave compilations, ever. As the previous review stated, there are NO filler tracks. Never seen the film, but always a pleasure to listen to this album. Lovely sunny translucent yellow vinyl on this pressing.
The movie is awful but who ever compiled this soundtrack is a genius. It's a perfect collection of known and lesser known new wave hits and no filler tracks, just great tunes from start to finish. If you can find it on yellow vinyl even better, play it load and while the sun is out!
such a great compilation. playing it always brings a smile to my face. it really has a "summer" feeling. one of my favourite soundtrack lps (never watched the movie though). excellent selection of punk / new wave era songs of very well known and relativly unkown artists & songs. translucent yellow vinyl. get this lp if you see it.
