My friend has asked me to sell his. He queued up for it on day of release and has number 0172. He played it once to tape the bonus track, it has the cellophane wrap.
Testing the water here, please contact me if interested…

Does anyone know what edition is one whose information is: Virgin – 7243 8 41655 1 2, Hut Recordings – HUTTLP 30
but in the runout array there is nothing recorded? Is it clean

Does this pressing actually sound any good??? I get that it’s rare but it seems like given the time period this probably wouldn’t sound great.

On the # of numbered debate, mine is “No 16027,” one of the highest I’ve seen, bought at Amoeba Records in early 2000s. It was the first “wall record” I’d ever purchased.

I can’t find a Discogs entry for numbers higher than 5000? Can anyone help. Saw a 12k+ number in the wild…

Bought this, with just a slight wrinkle on the corner of the cover, for less than €50,-. Guess I might have been lucky, right? Wasn't aware it goes for so much. Think it's unnumbered though, where should I find the number?

I question the current understanding of the UNNUMBERED versions. I was a HUGE Smashing Pumpkins fan back in the day, 25 years old when this was released. I personally went to Moby Disc on Topanga in the San Fernando valley in Los Angeles and purchased my UNNUMBERED 3LP copy on its original release day. I still have this copy in my collection. I was absolutely in high anticipation of its release. I did not wait until 1998 to buy this LP. I have no verifiable proof of this, mind you, but I have never been able to find out a definitve answer on the unnumbered versions. I just know what I know.

If anyone has record #2 that they would like to sell, please let me know. The copy I have has a misprint label on side 2 of record 2. I suppose if anyone wanted to sell all 3 of the records by themself, that would work as well, but I would prefer just the second one. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone knew how to store these records properly? Being a gatefold sleeve with 3 records... do I just put 2 in one of the sleeves?

Just curious, but as a hardcore fan of this album, why is this one so valued compared to the 2012/14 pressings outside of sound quality? Maybe it's the OCD talking but I would go insane listening to this album with a different tracklist... especially considering that the CDs and cassettes came out months before this, implying that they have the true intended order...
