Edited 2 years agoThere was nothing for the remixers to work with. "Aéro Dynamik" (or "Aerodynamik", as it was renamed for single release) is a spectacularly weak two-note ditty, occasionally interrupted by a pair of angelic chords which promise that some beautiful Hütter melodies are on the way. But no tune materializes, and the track falls back on oscillating between the two notes. Kraftwerk's own Kling Klang Dynamix merely extends the misery. François Kevorkian is asleep at the handlebars during his dismal turn. Alex Gopher and Etienne De Crécy do their best to cover up the absence of a song by turning up filters here and there, adding a bit of acid, and shoving in a would-be frantic crescendo or three. It's a valiant attempt, but one cannot polish a stool.
