You would never think how a minor adjustment (or better yet reduction in this case) to a song can have such a positive effect. The "No Piano" version completely smokes the album version. The abscence of the piano sample puts more emphasis on the hard hitting drums and complements Ra's lyrics much better. This version is most prominently known from DJ Premier's "Unflammable" mixtape. If you're like me and think that the "18th Letter" album does not have that many standout tracks altogether, the "No Piano" version is as good as "New York".
