Notes
Rahsaan Roland Kirk originally performed "Breath-A-Thon" as a solo piece. It appeared on the album "Natural Black Inventions: Root Strata," an incredible document of human creativity, ingenuity and will.
"Nicht so schnell, mit viel Ton zu spielen" is the third of Robert Schumann's five pieces in the popular style (Stücke im Volkston op. 102 Nº 1-5). I draw constant inspiration from the 1952 recording by Pau Casals and Leopold Mannes. Be sure to check out the original recordings of both pieces.
