Remember picking this up from Honest Jons.. almost flipped out when I heard it a few years ago. The drums are just bananas.

anybody knows which of these tracks are which on cd versions?
seriously, what does this guy do to himself in order to crank out sounds like these? these cuts are like more tweaked out vintage DJ Skull or Mike Dearborn tracks... like most Jamal productions, there's a touch of Detroit-esque spiritualism present, so it's also not straight compelling grit pummeling you. that being said, i think my fave of his is Blade Runner, which is as about as raw as it gets.
armchair DJs (like me nowadays) probably freak out to this, but as ---- notes below, playing these may clear the whole floor, but if dropped at the right time and right crowd, you break into the next level.

Incredibly raw, stomping chicago house... as heavy as any Robert Armani or Dance Mania stuff... but at the same time expressive and evolving. Those kickdrums!
