- Is it only me, or do we have some similarities in this egyptian banger?
https://youtu.be/sYCUcMmtR_Q - Edited one year agoThe Maurice Fulton remix sounds better here (clearer and more dynamic) than the one on Slouse and Deviation Classics compilations. I have both, the original press, the Slouse sampler and the Deviation box so I can compare. I don't know about the repress though.
- Edited 7 years agoJust pre-ordered Eamon Harkin And Justin Carter: Weekends And Beginnings Sampler Volume 1 which has a 45 of the Maurice Fulton remix on the A side
- Edited 9 years agoThe legend that is Maurice Fulton on absolute fire, this remix has to be one of the best pieces of music from the last ten years. As hiphopheaven states below, it sounds like it comes from the bygone golden era of Disco. First heard this on a Dixon mixtape and managed to bag myself a copy before it shot up to silly prices. Buy on sight...
- This Alice Smith track sounds like a top notch disco re-edit of something from the past, but iis in fact a 2006 original. Spaced-out & reasonably downtempo with a great crescendo. Head straight for the Maurice Fulton remix. Personally I think the music itself does enough justice, and find myself listening to the instrumental more than the vocal mix.
Pick this up if you see it!
