Tranceformation is the product of another, arguably bizarre, West meets East collab from the early-mid-noughties. Not surprisingly, the end result being remarkably “Push” – I’m not quite sure where Globe fits into the equation. Perhaps it’s in the second melo but it is plain to hear Push working his electrifying magic for another Bonzai classic. Such a powerful and cybernetic atmosphere is created in Tranceformation words cannot describe it; and in typical Push fashion that energy is dispersed during the whole course of playback. This is proper trance you don’t want to cut short in a mix.
On the B-side is the 2002 mix of the all-important Universal Nation. Don’t take it too seriously, it’s just a updated version lacking the wild element of the original. I don’t see it as a bad production, as one other reviewer implied, but there is not enough to justify remixing such an essential tune (it’s been remixed countless times since too…). Tranceformation is what matters on this release.
