I think this album was one of the earliest albums Kanye did production on that was physically released and distributed. He probably did some beats for local Chicago artists before Grav. (I'm not %100 sure, I wasn't there and I don't know Kanye personally). When I picked up a copy of Grav's 12" vinyl single of "Sex" with City to City on the B-side a couple years ago I looked at the credits on the A side and instantly recognized No I.D. and his production from the 1990's. But when I looked on the B-side and saw Kanye's name I had to pause for a second because I'd never seen a production credit for one of Kanye West's beats from before 1998.

Dope album. A great example of some good underground 90's Hip-Hop from Chicago.

Agreed I really dislike Kanye but the production on this album is what makes it above average, not saying Grav isn't nice but the beat stand out to me

I'll be honest and I say that I don't like today's Kayne West's production because as a person who like an old school hip-hop I can't listen to pop-rap, but on this album Kayne shows that he's a great producer and if he'd like to be a producer who makes in old style he could be.

This album has 15 tracks of which Kayne did 8 o he's produced a half of this album. I very like Grav's verses, but I know that if not Kayne's production this album wouldn't be so great!

For me "Down To Earth" get 9 out of 10.
