- While I don’t have the recent 2xLP remaster of this, I did have the ‘08 Capitol Vaults pressing before I landed this OG pressing listed pressed at Specialty. The ‘08 was horrible, and this pressing kicked its ass to the ground.
However, in my opinion this is just not a very end-all pressing on vinyl, because of the fact that it’s cut at a little lower volume and the sound is still compressed, considering this is an almost 1 hour album on a DMM mastered disc.
I’ve seen where people either like or really hate the 2xLP remaster, because of it’s inconsistently with pressing quality, but I cannot confirm that myself. Kind of like Van Halen’s OU812 from the same year, this is one that is to me better on CD or Cassette. - This sounds really good to me. Yeah, it could have used a two record set up rather than one, but it still sounds great.
- Edited 3 years ago33rd anniversary 2LP remaster due June 29th. I believe there is also a CD box as well. No idea who the remaster will be by nor who will press this. Genuinely hope they will do this masterpiece justice and get it right this time.

*Edit* Abbey Road Studios remaster - Considering this album was an early digital recording, mastered most likely for CD, and a general slight harshness in the recording process, I don’t think it sounds as bad as most make it out to be. But I do agree a proper 2xLP reissue would be fantastic. The BoB 2xLP is way too expensive these days.
- This masterpiece needs another 2xLP reissue. At roughly an hour long, it's simply too much music to cram onto one LP and achieve optimum sound quality at the same time.
