Given that there is seemingly no credit for DJ Solo on "Axis" at all, isn't this just a DMS track??

It's just occurred to me that the title is probably pronounced Dark-age.. all this time I thought it was 'Darkij', as it's all one word.. (as in Savage, Garage etc..)

Another timeless classic from '93! Axis is on a slightly happier affair with the usual euphoric stabs, synths and breakdowns ect whereas Darkage is (obviously) on the darker and jungle side of the spectrum!

All about the latter for me especially!

One of THE most influential releases of the year in my opinion. Instrumental in the change from happy hardcore to sinister, more darker riddims. Massive tune in South London, caned by pirates and DJs back in the day, I heard Randall mix this and it just blew me away. Darkage has to be one of my all time favourite tunes. Buy it Junglist brothers, buy it. As of 2015 you are looking at 40 quid plus for a decent copy, but worth every single penny.

According to the credits, Axis is by DMS and Darkage is by Solo & DMS. I'm not sure why DMS wasn't credited in the title, especially on such a big 12"!

The scratching by DJ Devine on 'Axis' is sublime (especially the first scracth after about 1 min in) It is one of my favourite scratch attacks ever - I have to listen to it on 33 to understand how he pulls off some of his moves!
