Show All 13 Reviews- My copy has no issues and sounds pretty incredible. The packaging would have been better as a gatefold but it’s still pretty amazing
- This is my 2nd time owning this one. My first one looked like the pictures, dark brown and dark yellow marbled discs, 180g, thick jacket. It was full of skips and I got rid of it. Just got my 2nd copy today, came in static-proof clear sleeves, records weren't as heavy, both were much lighter in color and weren't marbled. Sounds fucking GREAT! Plain FINALLY outdid themselves with the versions of this record printed in 2021, PLEASE pick this one up if your store has new copies straight from the plant, they sound amazing, I'd say the 2021 prints are on par with the original pressings
- Spun this again today, definitely a game of two halves. The first disc (brown) is awful, mostly as it’s off centre and that really ruins A Tear For Eddie and Baby Bitch (though it’s noticeable on pretty much every track). The second record (yellow) is by contrast really good. It sounds much more solid and has a punch to it.
- Not 100% sure, but the wave-like signature seems to indicate a David Cheppa vinyl cut
- My rating of 3x stars reflects only the quality of this particular issue of one of my all-time favorite albums... my copy is warped and the packaging is below ghetto for the money they charge. Plain and their family (Runt, Beards, etc.) really need to go away; shameful. Deaner please find a new label!
- Edited 7 years agoWell my copy soubds preety good however I don't have an OG copy to compare to. I use Rega as per my equipment ..hope this helps a bit.
