I had first listened to the 30 track digital mix of this which is excellent and has an amazing flow and mixed feel. The 18 track vinyl version may sound good, but they butchered this amazing mix. I was shocked when it arrived via shipment and said "18 tracks" on the cover. This is no longer a "mix" on vinyl, this is a burned by your friend mix-CD feel with each song fading out at the end. It defeats the entire purpose of a DJ kicks mix. I am baffled. It's entirely my fault, but I won't buy another DJ kicks vinyl edition again. The truth is I ordered this from another site and there was no tracklist provided. I assumed the full set. 30 tracks could easily fit across 6 sides of vinyl with only modest effect to the quality... this should be 4xLP.

Got it in digital (Itunes store) and on wax too. It's really different - Itunes version is correctly unmixed and vinyl version is only was cut from main mix :-(

Do you get the LP with all tracks mixed together or they stay separate?

Is anyone unhappy with the pressing on this? B and especially the A side has a lot of distortion on my system. I got a new stylus after my initial listen, helped a bit but it's still distorting especially in the right channel. Half of me thinks it's something wrong with the pressing and the other half thinks the issue is something in my system. Finals have made it hard for me to listen to my records so I haven't listened to anything else with the new stylus.

I love this compilation of tunes. Some great downtempo chill stuff, some groovy upbeat stuff, and all good stuff. This will get many a spin on my table in the years to come!
