Reviews
- I have nothing to compare it to but this pressing merely sounds okay. I, for one, am going to seek out another pressing. It leaves me wanting something better. There is no “skips” or other quality issues that others have reported. A fine package all-in-all and readily available for those who don’t own a copy.
- Edited 9 months agoLike (most of) the other Parlophone Bowie releases, this sounds fantastic. Space Oddity and Memory of a Free Festival are worth the price of admission alone, however there's some other gems here. If you're experiencing skipping, you may need to just get a higher-end turntable, as I didn't experience any
- I returned this record because there was a skip on the first track. I got a new copy and there was a skip in the same place.
- Didn't like the sound at all. Unnatural mix, no warmth or life. Is this the same mix/source as on the 2009 version?
- In case anyone's wondering: the original hidden track at the end of A2 is, indeed, still hidden but included on this record. Impeccable sound and artwork.
- No distortion, no skips, remastered really well. Tony Visconti's 2019 remix is maybe even better, (not only different) but I had a problem with distortion on the last track "Memory Of A Free Festival". Fortunately this is not the case.
