Just bought this and someone sent me the 2020 version. All these seem sealed if anyone has a NM and can confirm the matrix # I would gladly buy it.

Such a great pressing! Imusic.dk has this pressing for cheap, got it from there. Careful as the place sells both this and the 50th anniversary pressing (which according to people is shite)

Beautiful album! Fantastic pressing. The audio quality is absolutely superb. It’s a great remaster.

Superb superb superb…..however it was remastered…..one of the best sounding albums in my record collection……funny now to read about an infamous skip on Star as I spent a lot of time adjusting tracking force on my cartridge thinking it was my turntable……does not skip for me after my adjustments haha. Bought mine in Fnac in Spain

This oozes quality wherever you look at it. I bought it 4 years ago and I just opened it and played it. what I was missing in these last years!!!
overwhelming separation. very well defined basses, not at all bloated or muddy like it happens in my SACD 2003 copy.
Impeccable edition, among my 10 albums with the best sound
I'm not an Audiophile at all, I just try to enjoy the best that my pocket can allow me, and for $20 that I paid for it, I consider it highly recommended

If it has DBZSLP40 in the deadwax it's a repress of the 2012 all analog remaster.

                Reviewing DBZSLP40:
It's good, but I can't honestly say that it competes with the original UK. My og UK is a 7e/4e and it beats this.
If this really is AAA, that fact alone makes it collectible and special. Again, it's good but it isn't definitive. Even I, as a novice audio enthusiast, can tell that.
Buy this if you want 8.75/10 sound for $30
Buy the original UK (6e/4e ideally) if you want 10/10 bowie sound for $120

I have had the opportunity to compare this to the 40th and can confirm there is absolutely no difference in the sound. This is obviously a direct repress of the 40th. No question. Also the 40th had the notorious skip on Star. This one does not

I decided to take a chance on it after reading this on Vinyl Gourmet:
                    https://www.vinylgourmet.com/en/music/686-david-bowie-the-rise-and-fall-of-ziggy-stardust-and-the-spiders-from-mars-lp-180-gram-vinyl-2016-eu.html
Apparently the same mastering as the 40th Anniversary Edition and the only 100% all analogue version currently in print.
I managed to pick up a copy for a whole £17 and, to be honest, I was a bit sceptical about it. For such a low price though figured there wasn't much to lose.
Having now listened to it, I have to say, for a remaster it sounds absolutely fantastic. My system is a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo, Cambridge Audio CXA81 amp with Rega Fono Mini A2D and old Mission LX-2 speakers so not high end by any means.
                    Well worth the purchase

I damaged my cover, but still won't substitude this one. This is the best vinyl I own. The gold standard of remasters.

                      No skipping on Star.

Ironically I damaged my 2018 Low the same way...
