- Edited 8 years agoThat little synth at the end of Stay With Me Tonight, so teasing! It sounds like there was more to this track, but then faded out.
Maybe Daniel Miller has an unedited version? Who knows.
The b-side is a nice instrumental, kinda like a pure synth-pop take on Space Disco.
You'd think it was called Star Dust, Jupiter Orbit, or maybe Hyperspace (Part 2).
No.
It's called "Brushing Your Hair". - Edited 15 years agoAlex Fergusson’s debut single is a very nice and catchy little electronic pop record. Musically it is strongly reminiscent of Silicon Teens and early Depeche Mode (circa Speak & Spell), which isn’t surprising, given it was produced by the same person – Daniel Miller (under the nickname "Larry Least") Mute Records supremo, the man behind The Normal and Silicon Teens projects. Highly recommended to all fans of early Mute Records output and good old electropop music in general.
