But I Grew and I Bent I’m the Punk in the Gutter
Primal Scream seem to have turned into some sort of musical atavism and now their songs sound as some primitive nuthouse ditties. “Paranoid and insecure you didn't want me anymore. Poison thoughts just ran away wasted nights and wasted days. I was jealous and insane, medication killed the pain, soul asylum, psychic wars, don't know what we're fighting for…” I don’t want this delirious disco either.
