I agree with the review below. Prince came back STRONG with this one! This has echoes of the old Prince we knew and loved all over it, which is why it mostly works so well.- Edited 10 years agoVery good album. Sounds a bit dated, and could probably have been cut down a bit in length, but it is still one of Prince's most satisfying efforts of the 90's. It's got the ballads ("The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", "I Hate U"), the rockers ("Dolphin", "Endorphinmachine"), the weird-cool "Pussy Control" and much more. And let's not forget "Gold" - a power ballad easily in the same league as "Purple Rain". I strongly recommend the whole album, but perhaps especially "Gold".
